This cute palette is only £6 from TamBeauty and is called the ‘Blush Goddess’ palette. I’ve actually had it since the beginning of November so I thought it was about time for a review!
The palette comes with four blush shades and four gorgeous highlight shades in decently-sized pans. The highlight shades are what drew me to this palette – they look like shimmery marble! You have a range of colours, from peach to pink blushes and from subtle to intense highlights. Let’s get into swatches so you can see what I mean!
The blushes aren’t too pigmented that they’d leave you looking a bit clown-like, but they aren’t too subtle either. I like peach-toned blushes on my skin as I’m so pale so I think I’ll get more use out of the first one, but I also like the mauve-toned one as well. The last two pinks are a little too, well, pink for me, but I’m sure I’ll be able to work with them anyway!
The highlights are really pretty but incredibly glittery (except the last one) – you have a neutral shade, a pinkish shade, a very gold shade and a glowy darker gold highlight. They aren’t as intense as I would like but I do like the shimmer. I’m so pale that you can’t really see ANY of the highlights on my arm. Sigh. #palepeopleproblems. On my face they’re subtle but in the light there’s a nice shine (not in an oily way!). Keep an eye out on YouTube for me wearing this palette!
My rating: 6/10
I would have liked more pigment and it was a little chalky but it’s a decent palette for the price and quite handy for travelling if you want a variety!
