‘No Makeup’ Makeup MOTD

Sometimes you want to look a bit more natural and this look is exactly that! I wanted to create a face that I could quickly put on if I was just popping to the shops or if I just wanted to be more bare at any point. If you’re like me and you’re not confident enough to leave the house without makeup on, it’s great for that too.

These are the products I used today, minus the Trifle Cosmetics Liquid Glow (I put it on as a last-minute decision). I chose easy-to-use products with natural finishes.

No foundation today, just some concealer set with some mineral powder by Primark (it’s so good) and a little bit of bronzer and blush to add in some colour. Subtle is the key word here!

Next I put some taupe in the crease from the LA Girl palette and finished with some mascara that lengthens my lashes without clumping or looking spidery. My brows were quickly filled in using the MUR sculpting brow pencil.

My lipstick is by Nyx and is one of the Lip Lingeries. They do a range of nudes that suit a wide range of skin tones! You can get them from Boots! I have Ruffle Trim and Push Up.

Lastly I added the Liquid Glow to my cheekbones, which gives such a subtle ‘glow from within’ and makes me look a little bit more naturally healthy and awake. Here’s the finished look! Sorry about my messy hair. I always do my makeup before my hair!

  1. Holly your doing something wright. You look like one of those precious dolls that people treasure and collect. I hope you nor your husband is offended, it was said with purely good intentions & appreciation. If men actually had the patients like women did they might look good with or without make up cause, they take care of their skin unlike us. Have a good day Holly you & family.
