GLOWY SUMMER HOLIDAY MOTD

For today’s MOTD I decided to create a summery glowy look that I can recreate on holiday (I’m going in four days!!) and that I can wear all summer long. I’m obsessed with glowy skin at the moment and the lightweight base I used makes me feel like I’m on holiday already.

As it’s going to be warm (I hope), I wanted a base that was long-lasting yet lightweight, so I chose the Rimmel BB Cream over Illamasqua’s Hydra Veil primer, which keeps my skin so hydrated and healthy-looking. The concealer I used is the Radiance Reveal by Bourjois which highlights the parts I need highlighted and I’ve set my face using an illuminating setting powder by collection so I keep the glow! My blush is subtly shimmery – Makeup Revolution’s Vivid Baked blush – and I’ve bronzed up using I♥Makeup’s Bronze and Glow. My highlight is blinding and is my absolute favourite – Makeup Obsession’s Moon. I set my face using Primark’s fix spray to keep my makeup from melting off!

On my eyes I used the MUA Burning Embers palette – I actually did a review of the palette if you want to see what I think in more depth – to create something neutral with a pop of something different (pink under my eyes and duo-chrome brow bone highlight). I then used Stila’s Huge Extreme Lash for fuller lashes. My brows were done by MUR’s duo brow pencil.

On my lips I used a nude lipstick by 17 with some of that duo-chome shadow on the centre of my lips to make them glow a bit more and to tie the look together.

For a complete tutorial, watch the video below and head over to my channel, youtube.com/hollife and let me know what you think. I’d love to see some of you gorgeous bloggers in the comments there!

Let me know what you think of the look below!
